ShopEase is a mobile grocery shopping app designed to streamline the way users discover, navigate, and shop for their daily essentials. The app addresses common frustrations like product unavailability, in-store confusion, and difficulty tracking expenses all with a focus on simplicity and speed.
Goal
To create a seamless, intuitive, and time-saving grocery shopping experience for users who value convenience, personalized recommendations, and budget control.
Target Users
Busy urban individuals (aged 20–45), including students and working professionals, who want an efficient way to plan, shop, and save time and money during their grocery runs.
UI Design Choices
Clean, minimal layout with bold, readable fonts
Color-coded aisle mapping
Visual product cards with fast-add buttons
Soft neutrals with accent greens to reflect freshness
What I learned
This project helped me understand how to align design thinking with real-life problems. “ShopEase” wasn’t just about creating a shopping tool it was about simplifying routines and removing unnecessary friction for everyday users.
